Coastal Carolina University Arboretum
The CCU Arboretum covers all 322 acres of main campus and is ArbNet accredited. It features a collection of more than 100 species of trees and other woody perennials. Information about each tree in our collection is available in our map-based inventory. The formal entrance to the Arboretum is our Native Species Collection, located on the corner of University Boulevard and Chanticleer Drive East across from Baxley Hall and adjacent to Wheelwright Auditorium.
The mission of the CCU Arboretum is to be a place of education, research, discovery, and wellness for CCU students, faculty, staff, and the broader community. If you are interested in conducting an arboretum activity or project, please fill out a Research and Class Use Request.
