Dozens of Coastal Carolina University students were honored for their academic achievements during the 2021 Honors Convocation, which was held on Thursday, May 6. Among those recognized was a student of the year for each of the University's five colleges. From that group, Shelley Sasser, an interdisciplinary studies major, earned the title, University Distinguished Undergraduate Student.
