If you are harming yourself or experiencing thoughts about harming yourself, you can and should talk to someone about how you are feeling. Counseling Services is free and confidential for students who are experiencing this sort of trauma, and you may remain anonymous.

To schedule an appointment with a counselor, call 843-349-2305 or visit walk-in hours without an appointment, Monday through Friday from 12:30 to 3 p.m. The Counseling Services office is located in the Student Health Services building at 251 University Blvd.
Counselors understand that self-harm is not typically suicidal behavior, however, it may lead to suicidal thoughts or fatal injuries. Speaking with a counselor can help you to recover and learn new ways to cope.
