Retired Employees group (REG)

REG's Brief History

Robert "Dr. Bob" Squatriglia, CCU's Vice President Emertius for student affairs, organized REG in 2008 as a way to CCU retirees to stay connected with each other and the University. When he moved out of the area in 2017, the REG board of advisers was formed. The current board includes Wendy Dannelly, Cookie Elston, Poppy Hepp, Nyoka Hucks, Porter Medley, David Parker, Pat Singleton-Young, Sharon Sluys, Pat Taylor, Charmaine Tomczyk and John Vrooman.

The CEF administers this gift and selection is made annually through the University Financial Aid Office and its protocol, including review by the University Scholarship Committee.

In order to support broad categories of eligible students, the criteria for this scholarship award is for new, continuing or transfer students, full or part timers, undergraduate (at least 2.0 GPA) or graduate (at least 3.0 GPA), and the student must demonstrate financial need.
