Coastal Carolina University's Lifelong Learning fall schedule of short courses, workshops and programs for education and enrichment is now available, and registration is under way. More than 250 courses, which begin Sept. 17, are scheduled at four locations, including University Hall on the main campus in Conway, CCU's Waccamaw Higher Education Center in Litchfield, and also at Webster University in Myrtle Beach and the J. Bryan Floyd Recreation Center in North Myrtle Beach..

The program of noncredit courses offers studies in art and photography, computer technology, foreign languages, history and government, literature and writing, music, theater and film, personal growth and skill development, religion and philosophy, science and nature, as well as scores of cultural and travel opportunities.

The new catalogs, with a distinctive watercolor cover by artist/instructor Barnie Slice, will be mailed to prior Lifelong Learners and are available at the locations cited above, as well as at local libraries.
