Coastal Carolina University's Symphonic Band and Chamber and Concert Choirs will perform a mix of seasonal tunes and carols Thursday, Dec. 6 at 7:30 p.m. in Wheelwright Auditorium. General admission is $8. Admission for alumni, senior citizens and Lifelong Learning members is $6; children 18 and under are free, as are CCU students, faculty and staff, and Horry-Georgetown Technical College students.

Coastal's Department of Music's annual holiday concert will feature the CCU Chamber and Concert Choirs under direction of Terri Sinclair, and the CCU Symphonic Band under direction of Jim Tully.

The program will include several seasonal pieces of a classical nature, as well as numerous familiar holiday carols and selections. The concert will end with the traditional audience sing-along of Handel's "Hallelujah Chorus" from "Messiah."

Tickets for the performance must be picked up from Wheelwright Box Office Monday through Friday between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. For more information, call 349-2502.
