The university has been notified that three individuals are in custody in connection with the homicide that occurred yesterday near campus. The individuals in custody have no connection to Coastal Carolina University. Increased campus security will continue as a precautionary measure.

The Student Center will be open until 10 p.m. this evening. The Recreation Center will close at 10 p.m., although the pool will close at 6 p.m. The shuttle service will operate until 10 p.m.
