Coastal Carolina University will present awards for faculty and student academic achievement and recognition at the annual Honors Convocation on tonight at Wheelwright Auditorium at 7 p.m.

Each academic department will present awards to students in recognition of outstanding academic accomplishments.

Other awards include the Faculty's Distinguished Excellence Award, the Ronald D. Lackey Service Award, the Distinguished Teacher Scholar Lecturer Award, the Distinguished Teacher Scholar Lecturer Award and the Student Division Award.
