A 1994 graduate of the University who joined the staff in 1996, she previously served as interim director, associate director and senior associate director of financial aid.

Her duties include overall administration of the financial aid office, including systems planning, policy, general operation and compliance; management of all financial aid funds; and customer service.

During her tenure in the Office of Financial Aid, Hitchcock developed advanced processes and systems that have been studied and copied by other colleges. "She continuously strives to streamline processes and to use technology to ensure accuracy and compliance with internal, state and federal guidelines," said Judy Vogt, vice president for enrollment services.
