"Learn Your Mac in a Day" is being offered on three upcoming Saturdays through the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute at Coastal Carolina University.

Instructor Rob Myers will conduct the class on Saturday, Oct. 18, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Learn how to navigate the system (Macintosh basics and customizing), the fundamentals of internet navigation through WebQuest (setting up an e-mail account, sending and receiving messages and photos, creating and saving a personal address book), and the basic workings of Microsoft Word (including document creation from templates).

You may bring your own laptop, or use one of Myers'. Each workshop is limited to five students and held in downtown Conway, with a scheduled lunch break.

The day-long workshop is also offered on Saturdays, Nov. 22 and Dec. 13. The fee is $45.
