Coastal Carolina University hosts Saints Revival Week

Coastal Carolina University will host Saints Revival Week from Sunday, Oct. 26 to Saturday, Nov. 1. The week will include a variety of events beginning with a "Gospel Blow Out" at 4 p.m. Sunday in the Wall Auditorium featuring gospel artist Roosevelt Boles of Atlanta, Ga., and Endure, a female gospel quartet from Dillon. The event is free and open to the public.

Boles, a minister and founder of the gospel group Trinity, recently released his debut album, "Hallelujah Thank You Jesus." Endure also recently released its new album entitled "A New Start."

The following events are free and open to the public.

Monday, Oct. 27

* Refuge Night, 7 p.m., Recital Hall in the Edwards College of Humanities and Fine Arts. Refuge, a student Christian group at Coastal Carolina University, will hold a church service.

Wednesday, Oct. 29

* Reformed University Fellowship (RUF), 7 p.m., Recital Hall in the Edwards College of Humanities and Fine Arts. The student Christian group will hold a church service.

Thursday, Oct. 30

* Pastor Connie Barnes of Brookgreen Charge (Brown Chapel, Heaven Gate, St. James United Methodist Church of Myrtle Beach), 7 p.m., Wall Auditorium

Friday, Oct. 31

* Bible Bowl, 7 p.m., Wall Auditorium. Students will answer Bible-based questions in a game show setting

Saturday, Nov. 1

* Church service with Pastor Kieth Brady of Faith Temple Church of God in Christ of Conway, 7 p.m., Wall Auditorium.
