OLLI at Coastal Carolina University hosts Free Week, Jan 5 to 9, 2009

The Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (OLLI) at Coastal Carolina University will offer "Free Week," a week of courses for which no fee will be charged, from Monday, Jan. 5 to Friday, Jan. 9. A brief description of Free Week courses is listed below.

Classes for the regular OLLI spring session begin Monday, Jan. 12. The 40-page catalog listing more than 250 courses and scores of cultural opportunities is now available. The catalog may be picked up at the outreach centers in Conway (Foundation Center on U.S. 501), Litchfield (Waccamaw Higher Education Center on Willbrook Blvd.) and Georgetown (Georgetown Higher Education Center on Fraser St.), at the J. Bryan Floyd Recreation Center in North Myrtle Beach and at Webster University on Oleander Dr. in Myrtle Beach. In addition, stacks have been placed at local libraries and chambers of commerce. . The OLLI offices at the Foundation Center (843-349-4001) and Waccamaw Higher Education Center (843-349-4030) will be closed from Wednesday, Dec. 23 until Monday, Jan. 5, the commencement of Free Week.
