The Coastal Inspirational Ambassadors will host a Gospel Extravaganza, a vocal and praise dance concert, on Sunday, April 19 at 4:30 p.m. in Wheelwright Auditorium at Coastal Carolina University. The event is free but tickets are required. The event is sponsored by the Coastal Inspirational Ambassadors, formerly the Coastal Carolina Gospel Choir.

Invited guests include Charleston Southern Gospel Choir, Furman University Gospel Ensemble, Winthrop University Praise Team and Coastal Carolina University's Phase II.

Established in 1988, the Inspirational Ambassadors features 40 Coastal Carolina University students who share a passion for gospel music. The choir seeks to perpetuate the tradition of gospel music and to recognize the importance of gospel in the preservation of African-American history. The choir is under the direction of David Manigo.
