CCU partners with LIDS to offer Chanticleer football tickets

Coastal Carolina University is teaming up with LIDS, a national retailer of headwear and related accessories, for a special Chanticleer Football promotion during the season.

Any LIDS customer who purchases Chanticleer branded merchandise will receive two free tickets to a home University football game this fall. Participants may choose to attend one of the following home games: Sept. 18 vs. Georgia Southern; Sept. 25 vs. Delaware State; Oct. 23 vs. Stony Brook; Nov. 13 vs. Liberty or Nov. 20 vs. Charleston Southern.

The University and LRG, a Winston-Salem-based licensing firm, developed the promotion with LIDS in an effort to strengthen the CCU brand in the regional marketplace. “We have partnered with LIDS on a similar promotion with Chanticleer baseball for the past two years,” said CCU Associate Vice President for Marketing Matt Hogue. “So, at LRG’s recommendation, we chose to create a fall promotion that taps into the excitement of Chanticleer football. We highly value the successful relationship we have with LIDS.”

LIDS has five store locations in the Grand Strand area: Barefoot Landing, Broadway at the Beach, Coastal Grand Mall, Tanger Outlets (Kings Road) and Tanger Outlets (U.S. 501).
