Coastal Carolina University presents Fall Gospel Concert

Coastal Carolina University’s Coastal Inspirational Ambassadors will present its Fall Gospel Concert at 4:30 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 3 in Wheelwright Auditorium. The concert is free and open to the public, but tickets are required. However, donations will be accepted in support of furniture for the new university chapel.

The approximately 60-member choir will perform songs, including “Rain on Us” by Earnest Pugh, “I Won’t Let Go” by John P. Kee, “My Love, My Life, My All” by Kirk Franklin and “Healing” by Richard Smallwood.

The Coastal Inspirational Ambassadors, the student gospel choir offers positive and inspiring gospel music programs that seek to perpetuate the tradition of gospel music. The choir also strives to recognize the importance of gospel in the preservation of African-American history. The Coastal Inspirational Ambassadors, directed by David Manigo, perform on campus and at events across the state.

The event is sponsored by the Office of Multicultural Student Services. The free tickets may be picked up at the Wheelwright Box Office, Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. or prior to the performance. For more information, call 843-349-2502.
