CCU hosts Saints Revival Week

Coastal Carolina University will host Saints Revival Week, a variety of religious events, from Monday, Nov. 1 through Sunday, Nov. 7.

The week will include several events, culminating with "Gospel Blow Out" at 5 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 7 in the Recital Hall of the Thomas W. and Robin W. Edwards College of Humanities and Fine Arts. “Gospel Blow Out” will feature various gospel groups including Francis Marion University's Young Gifted and Blessed (YGB) and Coker College’s Gospel Choir. This event is free and open to the public, but donations will be accepted to help furnish the University’s new chapel.

The week will also include the following events, which are free and open to the public, unless otherwise indicated.

Monday, Nov. 1

* Refuge Night featuring special guests and a live band, 6:30 p.m., Wall Auditorium

Tuesday, Nov. 2

* Gospel Talent Show, 7 p.m., Edward Recital Hall, admission is $2

Thursday, Nov. 4

* CD Release Celebration for “He Changed Me” by Pastor Edward Blain of the Lighthouse Empowerment Center in Philadelphia, Pa. featuring a performance with Blain’s mass choir and band, 7:30 p.m., Edwards Recital Hall
