CCU’s OLLI spring 2011 course catalog now available

December 7, 2010

Coastal Carolina University’s Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (OLLI) released its spring 2011 catalog of courses, now available at the three CCU outreach centers in Conway, Myrtle Beach and Litchfield Beach, as well as local libraries and chambers of commerce.

OLLI’s 350 course offerings are designed for seasoned adults, priced individually and require an OLLI membership of $20. Once enrolled, there are many additional “free with membership” clubs, excursions and events, plus discounts on CCU cultural productions and special OLLI rates for area performances by Atlantic Stage, Long Bay Symphony and Murrells Inlet Community Theatre.

Registration is currently under way at OLLI’s three CCU outreach centers located at the Foundation Center, U.S. 501 and Winyah Road, in Conway (843-349-4001); the Myrtle Beach Education Center, U.S. 17 Bypass and 79th Avenue North, in Myrtle Beach (843-349-2767); and the Waccamaw Higher Education Center, 160 Willbrook Blvd., in Litchfield Beach (843-349-6584). During “Free Week” (Wednesday through Friday, Jan. 5-7), students can meet OLLI instructors, sample OLLI courses, and secure a photo ID.
