Meredith Kahl has been named director of enrollment events/associate director of admissions for the Office of Admissions at Coastal Carolina University.

Kahl’s duties include designing and implementing the CCU orientation program; overseeing the registration process; hiring, training and supervising the orientation staff; and developing admissions recruitment events, which includes visitation programs, open houses, bus tours, counselor receptions and more.

Kahl, a member of the National Orientation Director’s Association, comes to CCU from Florida State University, where she was associate director for new student and family programs. She earned a bachelor’s degree in history and political science from the University of South Carolina and a master’s degree in higher education student personnel leadership from the University of Mississippi.
