Student services during Thanksgiving break
Department of Public Safety
Our campus police will be in full force throughout the break and will collaborate with University Housing staff to enforce a no-overnight guest policy throughout the break. The guard houses located in front of University Place and Ingle Hall will be staffed as normal from 11 p.m. to 7 a.m., and the associated parking gates will also be closed.
Food Service
Closed − Hicks Dining Hall, Java City, Science Center, UP C-Store, Ingle C-Store
Normal operating hours resume Monday, Nov. 28, at all locations.
UP Café
Open − Saturday, Nov. 19, 7 a.m. to noon
CINO Grille
Buffet served − $5
The buffet includes entrees, salad bar, pizza, assorted soda and bottled water.

University Shuttle
The University Shuttle will run on a limited basis through Tuesday, Nov. 22, and will resume normal service on Sunday, Nov. 27.
Kimbel Library
The Kimbel Library will be open Monday, Nov. 21, and Tuesday, Nov. 22, from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Wednesday, Nov. 23, from 8 a.m. to noon.
Jackson Student Center

Academic Testing Center

Residence Halls
All residence halls will remain open during the Thanksgiving break. We anticipate that most residents will take advantage of this break in the University calendar and head home as usual. However, those who wish to remain for any reason will have access to their assigned space.
Here are some important things to keep in mind about University Housing services during this break:
• Resident Assistants will be on duty from 7 p.m. to 8 a.m. in each area nightly and 24 hours a day during weekends and University holidays. Please look for signage in your community for the correct number to call for the RA on duty.
• Community desks at Ingle Hall and the University Place Phase 3 office will be open daily from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m.
• Emergency maintenance and custodial services will remain available throughout the break. The RA on duty and community desks should be contacted in the event of a maintenance issue in your room or apartment.
• IMPORTANT NOTE: Absolutely no overnight guests will be permitted in the halls during the breaks.
