Java Jabber focuses on stand-up comedy

October 10, 2012

Ethical issues associated with stand-up comedy will be the focus of today's Java Jabber on Wednesday, Oct.10, at 4:30 p.m. in the courtyard of the Thomas W. and Robin W. Edwards College of Humanities and Fine Arts. The event is free and open to the public.

David Killoren, a visiting ethicist at Coastal Carolina University, will moderate. Jeremy Griffin, a stand up comedian and CCU teaching associate, will also be on hand.

The Java Jabber is an open discussion on current events presented by the Jackson Family Center for Ethics and Values. Participants receive a "Java Buck," good for $1 off a purchase at Java City.

There also is a raffle for Jackson Center coffee mugs.
