Saxophone ensemble to perform Nov. 1

Coastal Carolina University will feature the Saxophone Ensemble in the Recital Hall of the Thomas W. and Robin W. Edwards College of Humanities and Fine Arts on Thursday, Nov. 1, at 7:30 p.m.

Under the direction of Daniel J. O'Reilly, a lecturer at CCU, students Jacqui King, Teddy Washington, Taylor Matthews and Jon Miller will feature classical, pop and Latin musical numbers. Special guests will be named during the performance.

Songs will include "Sing Unto God" and "Thine Be The Glory" from the oratio Judas Maccabaeus by George F. Handel, "Lemon Meringue" by Bruce Evans and "You've Got a Friend In Me" by Randy Newman from the movie "Toy Story," and others.

Tickets may be purchased from the Wheelwright Box Office at 843-349-2502, or prior to the performance. The hours are Monday through Friday between 9 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. General admission is $3.

The Edwards College of Humanities and Fine Arts is located at 133 Chanticleer Drive W. on the CCU campus.
