2013 Homecoming concert features award-winning group Gloriana

October 14, 2013

Nashville chart-toppers Gloriana will headline Coastal Carolina University's 2013 Homecoming Concert on Friday, Nov. 1, at 7:30 p.m. in the HTC Center. Tickets are still available online and at the Wheelwright Box Office.

The country trio was formed in 2008 when brothers Tom and Michael Gossin teamed up with Rachel Reinert in Nashville, Tenn. Their self-titled debut album reached No. 2 on the Billboard Country Albums chart in 2009, propelled by the gold-certified single "Wild At Heart." The group hit the road with Taylor Swift on her "Fearless" tour and won both an American Music Award for Breakthrough Artist and an Academy of Country Music Award for Top New Vocal Group in 2010.

The group's second album, "A Thousand Miles Left Behind," was released to critical acclaim in 2012, with the breakout single "Can't Shake You." The album debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard Country Charts and at No. 10 on the Billboard Top 200. The chart-topping smash hit, "Kissed You (Good Night)," was certified platinum and continues to be one of the most played songs of the year. Gloriana has been opening for artists such as Alan Jackson, Jason Aldean, Zac Brown Band and Brooks & Dunn, to name a few.
