Jazz Ensemble swings at CCU

The Coastal Carolina University Jazz Ensemble presents an evening of electric music, featuring jazz standards, swing and contemporary big band selections on Tuesday, Nov. 19, at 7:30 p.m. at Wheelwright Auditorium. General admission tickets are $15; CCU/HGTC students and children (10 and under) are $5; faculty and staff are $10.

Under the direction of assistant professor Matthew White, the ensemble will perform a mix of contemporary and classic arrangements for full big band including "Blue Rondo a la Turk" by Dave Brubeck, "Four" by Miles Davis, "Count Bubba" by Gordon Goodwin and Radiohead's "Bodysnatchers."
