CCU Faculty Recital set for Feb. 11 at CCU

Coastal Carolina University's Department of Music faculty members will perform a concert on Tuesday, Feb. 11, at 7:30 p.m. in the Recital Hall of the Thomas W. and Robin W. Edwards College of Humanities and Fine Arts. General admission is $5 and $3 for students.

The program will include a variety of classical and jazz works showcasing different vocal and instrumental combinations.

Members of the music faculty who will perform include: Chris Connolly, trombone; Patti Edwards, soprano; Jill Trinka, voice and autoharp; Gary Stegall, piano; and Kate Tucker, clarinet. Amy Tully, flute, will perform the world premiere of "Dance Suite for Flute and Piano" by CCU faculty member Andrew Fowler.

The Faculty Brass Quintet will also participate, with Matthew White and Zach Douglas on trumpets, Tonya Propst on French horn, Chris Connolly on trombone and Stephen Healy on tuba.

The Recital Hall is in room 152 of the Edward Building, located at 133 Chanticleer Drive West on the Conway campus. Parking is available behind the building or adjacent in Brittain Hall.
