Coastal Carolina University is launching a new initiative that gives qualified South Carolina high school seniors the opportunity to attend a university where they can be successful. CCU's Top Ten Guarantee offers guaranteed admission to all students who graduate in the top 10 percent of their S.C. high school class. The program begins now, with the first students to be admitted in fall 2015.

"It has been our goal to admit every qualified South Carolina student who applies to Coastal Carolina University," said David A. DeCenzo, president of CCU. "CCU's Top Ten Guarantee is one more way of assuring we do that."

"This is a great way to recognize the high achieving students that we have in South Carolina," said Ralph Byington, provost of CCU. "We know that high school grade point average is a good predictor of success."

Current high school seniors interested in enrolling at CCU as freshman students in fall 2015 are encouraged to apply for the Top Ten Guarantee program. Requirements include a completed application, official high school transcript showing class rank and official standardized test scores. Those students who meet all admissions requirements will be guaranteed admission. Complete an application online at coastal.edu/admissions.
