CCU’s dance team and USAF Spectrum Band to perform

The Coastal Carolina University Dance Team and the United States Air Force Heritage of America Full Spectrum Band will perform together in concert on Monday, Oct. 27, at 7:30 p.m. in the Wheelwright Auditorium. The event is free and open to the public, but ticketed.

The USAF Full Spectrum Band is a high-energy ensemble that features a range of dynamic musicians who have earned worldwide acclaim and military distinction. The group plays a wide range of music from Latin, hip-hop, funk, R&B, classic rock and more.

The band was activated in 1941 and has always strived to inspire public patriotism. The world-class musicians are stationed at Joint Base Langley-Eustis in Hampton, Va., where they are led by Lt. Col. Jeffrey B. Warner. Throughout the year, they present over 300 events around the mid-Atlantic region. The band's mission is to preserve the core values and musical heritage of the Air Force.
