Coastal Carolina University's Small Business Development Center will hold the workshop, "Surviving a Recession," for small business owners on Thursday, March 7 from 6:30 to 9 p.m. at the Georgetown Chamber of Commerce. Fee for the workshop is $25.

The seminar, sponsored by Coastal's Small Business Development Center and Sun Bank, will address several ways businesses can survive an economic downturn.

Guest speakers include Tommy Bouchette, president of Sun Bank; Bob Goroski, a Service Corps of Retired Executives (SCORE) counselor; and Nancy Niles, director of Coastal's Small Business Development Center.
