Örökös to be presented at the Bryan Art Gallery

February 16, 2015

Örökös to be presented at the Bryan Art Galleryl Carolina University at noon Thursday, Feb. 19, in the Rebecca Randall Bryan Art Gallery. The event is free and open to the public.

A collaboration between CCU's theatre and art departments, Örökös is a multimedia immersion that explores the aesthetic of the individual. The performance seeks to answer questions such as: How is the psyche connected to the physical body, and how does this connection foster individual identities? What is the aesthetic of the individual versus that of the group?

Join the participating students and faculty in exploring these abstract ideas in a world where mediums collide, watching still images come to life amidst a menagerie of transparency projectors, music and objects.

The company includes CCU students Kaleb Allen, Jessica Bryant, Hannah Lewis, J.P. McLaurin, Korinny Sanchez and Peter Seifarth.

The installation will be presented on a loop in the Rebecca Randall Bryan Art Gallery located in the Thomas W. and Robin W. Edwards College of Humanities and Fine Arts building at 133 Chanticleer Drive W. on the Conway campus.
