CCU to host final farmers market of the fall semester

November 3, 2016

Coastal Carolina University will hold a farmers market on Monday, Nov. 14, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Prince Lawn. This event is open to the public.

In collaboration with the Waccamaw Market Cooperative, the market will host local businesses with environmentally fresh and locally grown produce and plants, baked goods, handmade jewelry and many eco-friendly products that will be available for purchase. Cash, checks and debit/credit cards are accepted.

The market is sponsored by Sustain Coastal, which is committed to transforming Coastal Carolina University into an environmentally sustainable university through campus operations, student curriculum, engaging students through learning and outreach, and collaboration in the community through sustainable stewardship of resources. Invite your friends and don't forget a reusable bag.

This will be the final of three farmers markets held during the 2016 fall semester. Prince Lawn is located in the middle of campus in front of the Thomas W. and Robin W. Edwards College of Humanities and Fine Arts Building and the Eldred E. Prince Building. For more information, call 843-349-5041 or email sustain@coastal.edu.
