Campus Salvage, Coastal Carolina University's annual yard sale, will take place on Saturday, May 13, starting at 8 a.m. at 370 Allied Drive in Conway, which is the PODS company parking lot in the Atlantic Center across from CCU. There will be an early bird entry fee of $5 for those who wish to enter at 7 a.m.

Previous years' Campus Salvage sale items have included microwaves, mini fridges, TVs, small appliances, furniture, shelving and more. Prices for items will be posted at the sale, and all sales are final. This will be a cash-only sale, and items will be sold as is.

Proceeds from the sale, after the expenses for the PODS, will go toward a sustainability scholarship fund. Last year the event raised almost $5,000 for the scholarship fund; unsold items (food, clothes, bedding, etc.) were donated to 16 local charities.

The program is designed to keep these items out of landfills and supports local charities.
