Coastal Inspirational Ambassadors to perform fall gospel concert

October 11, 2017

Coastal Carolina University's Coastal Inspirational Ambassadors will present its Fall Gospel Concert on Sunday, Oct. 22, at 4:30 p.m. in Wheelwright Auditorium. This event is free and open to the public with no ticket required.

This annual event celebrates the heartfelt sounds of gospel music with a performance by the Coastal Inspirational Ambassadors, one of the University's original student performing ensembles, which perpetuates the tradition of gospel music and recognizes the importance of gospel in the preservation of African-American culture.

The concert includes selections from contemporary gospel artists such as Ricky Dillard and J.J. Hairston and older acts throughout history such as James Cleveland.

The Coastal Inspirational Ambassadors tours each spring, performing at churches and schools throughout the state and region. In addition to performing, the organization promotes a sense of responsibility, teamwork and community service among its members.

Wheelwright Auditorium is located at 108 Spadoni Park Circle on the CCU main campus in Conway. Parking is available nearby.
