Veteran Myrtle Beach photographer Jack Thompson will give a slide presentation featuring his historic photographs of Myrtle Beach as part of the opening of a six-week exhibit presented by the Rebecca Randall Bryan Art Gallery at Coastal Carolina University.

The slide presentation-lecture is scheduled for Thursday, Aug. 29 at 6 p.m. in room 136 of the Thomas W. and Robin W. Edwards College of Humanities and Fine Arts. A reception in the gallery will follow the lecture. The exhibit, called "Photographic Reflections of Old Myrtle Beach," will be displayed in the gallery through Oct. 10.

The lecture, reception and exhibit are free and open to the public.
