Coastal Carolina University artist-in-residence Bryan Rapp isn't one to let obstacles stand in the way of his creative itch.

"The Chanticleer" is the second bronze sculpture commissioned by CCU, for CCU. The first was designed and built by Logan Woodle and installed in October 2015 at the entrance to the TD Sports Complex.

"The Chanticleer" will be installed outside Brooks Stadium and is almost twice as tall as the current Chauncey statue, which has been the site of many a selfie and even an engagement proposal.
