Video: Residence halls reopen, students return to campus routines

October 1, 2018

After almost three weeks of being closed because of Hurricane Florence and its associated flooding, the campus of Coastal Carolina University began coming back to life on Friday, Sept. 28. Residence halls reopened, students regained access to the fitness center and Hicks Dining Hall once more fed students.

The University administration welcomed students back to campus with a "Hot Diggity Dog ... We're Back!" event on Prince Lawn from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 1. Students were offered free hotdogs, the chance to to tie-dye a T-shirt, and could ask questions from the more than 20 campus departments that were set up at the event.
