The Small Business Development Center (SBDC) at Coastal Carolina University is sponsoring a free workshop on intellectual property on Thursday, April 25, from noon to 1 p.m. at the center's office at 642 Century Circle in Conway.

In this seminar, Douglas Lineberry of Burr & Forman law firm will discuss the various types of intellectual property (patents, trademarks and copyrights) and how to protect them.

A complimentary lunch will be provided for attendees.
