Watch: CCU tackles flooding/hurricane research

Flooding and impacts from hurricanes have been dominant features of late near Coastal Carolina University. That being the case, numerous professors and students have devoted time to doing research on the subjects.

Here, we catch up with three different efforts to learn more about flooding and storms, in what is ultimately an attempt to lessen the effects of those events on the region.

May 5-11, 2019 is National Hurricane Preparedness Week. We are spotlighting efforts taken by our University to lead the charge for change in South Carolina so that all residents can be better informed and better prepared when the next storm strikes.
