Coastal Carolina University will host its eighth annual Hispanic Celebration Wednesday, Oct. 9 from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. on the Prince Lawn on the Coastal campus. The event is free and open to the public. Food and merchandise will be for sale.

The event will offer food and music from the countries of Central, Latin and South America. Posters, maps, and other information will be displayed.

In case of inclement weather, the festival will be held on Wednesday, Oct. 16.

The Hispanic Celebration is sponsored by Coastal's Office of Multicultural Student Services. For more information about the festival, call 349-2863.
