When Hurricane Dorian threatened Coastal Carolina University, there were about 50 students who were either too far from home or had no other options for evacuation. CCU made certain that those individuals were not left to fend for themselves, by arranging for them to be sheltered at East Tennessee State University.

About a dozen staff members accompanied them during their stay away from campus. We caught up with the group as it returned to Coastal, once the threat from Dorian had passed.
