CCU relaunching Vax to the Max scholarship drawings for Spring 2022

January 31, 2022

Coastal Carolina University is relaunching its Vax to the Max incentives program for the Spring 2022 semester. The program, which provides an opportunity for students vaccinated against COVID-19 to win scholarship money, will resume Feb. 11.

Similar to the format during Fall 2021, the program will award four $2,500 scholarships each week for 10 weeks in Spring 2022 and one Grand Prize Scholarship – full tuition, room, and board for one semester at CCU – at the end of the semester. Students who uploaded their vaccination records last semester remain eligible for this semester’s drawings.

Follow CCU’s official Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram pages to see the weekly winners. Names will be drawn each Wednesday, beginning on Feb. 2, and winners will be verified, contacted, and publicly announced via social media the following Friday, beginning on Feb. 11. Winners will be named weekly through Friday, April 29, with the exception of spring break and the April 22 student holiday. The Grand Prize Scholarship winner will be announced on April 29.

Students are encouraged to get vaccinated and upload their vaccination records for a chance to win. Students who would like to get vaccinated at Student Health Services on campus are asked to make an appointment online or call 843-349-6543. Conway Medical Center (CMC) offers the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine in the Lib Jackson Student Union Commuter Lounge (Room A107) the first Thursday of each month from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Simply walk in and get a free vaccine. Appointments cannot be made. Individuals attending this clinic are asked to complete the CMC COVID-19 vaccination form and bring it with them. To find an off-campus vaccine provider, click here.

Students who are already fully vaccinated are also eligible to participate in the vaccination incentives program. To learn more about Vax to the Max and how to upload your records, click here.

The incentives program is being supported by the University’s allotted CARES Act funds.
