Coastal names new Director of Alumni Affairs
Her duties will include planning alumni events, advising the Student Alumni Ambassadors and serving as a liaison between the Alumni Association, its board of directors and the university. She will also maintain contact and continue to develop relationships with Coastal’s more than 11,000 alumni.
Chambers earned a bachelor’s degree in studio art from Coastal in 1992. She has primarily worked in the marketing/sales field in both residential and commercial real estate since graduating from Coastal. She is moving to the area from Manassas, Va., where she was marketing director for the Clark Construction Group, Inc. for the past four years.
She also worked for the Litchfield Company for three years before moving to Virginia. She is married to Victor Chambers, and they have an 8-month-old son, Austen Jack. She is a member of the Society for Marketing Professional Services (SMPS) and Commercial Real Estate for Women (CREW).
