Estate Planning Series
This series, to be held Tuesday evenings from 5:30-7:30 (August 8, 15, and 22) on the Coastal Carolina University campus, will cover a variety of estate planning topics, including planning for retirement, wills, power of attorney, planning for health care, probate, and Social Security. Refreshments will be provided. Fees for the 2017 series: $59 per person or $100 per couple. The Office of Academic and Community Outreach is happy to design seminars for area businesses, professional groups, and community organizations, drawing upon the expertise of Coastal Carolina faculty to meet the needs of employees aspiring to leadership positions.
Understanding Other Cultures - Building Community
Created and taught by an Anthropology professor, this seminar is designed for professionals and community service personnel who interact with citizens with varied cultural backgrounds. The Office of Academic and Community Outreach will be happy to tailor the delivery to your needs.
CEUs for Teachers
In conjunction with the Spadoni College of Education or with content area departments on campus, the Office of Academic and Community Outreach is pleased to design courses for area teachers seeking recertification.
