Christopher A. Johnson
CEO, Coastal Educational Foundation
Christopher A. Johnson, was named chief executive officer for the Coastal Educational Foundation (CEF) in January of 2021. The Coastal Educational Foundation is a not-for-profit foundation that supports Coastal Carolina University and manages assets, including investments and land. The CEF is also responsible for the University's planned giving program and works closely with the Chanticleer Athletic Foundation and the Coastal Carolina University Research Foundation managing their endowments and accounting services.
Johnson previously served as executive director for the Chanticleer Athletic Foundation (CAF) and has held numerous non-profit development positions within the University since July 1997.
Johnson earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in political science from Eastern Kentucky University and is pursuing his Master of Science degree in non-profit administration from Louisiana State University.
