Student Ambassadors


UBelong Student Ambassadors serve and act as the official student hosts at CCUBelong events as well as other University functions. This group of student leaders represents the University, Quality Enhancement Plan (QEP) Director, and Provost while working closely with the Office of the Provost and the Office of Special Events.


The CCUBelong initiative was created as part of the QEP at Coastal Carolina University. Currently, the QEP along with the Office of the Provost is accepting applications for the first cohort of CCUBelong Student Ambassadors during the 2024-2025 academic year. We are seeking a group of dynamic CCU student ambassadors to help support and promote the CCUBelong initiative across campus. 

The criteria for applying to be a student ambassador are that you be in good academic standing with an overall GPA of at least a 2.5 and be a CCU sophomore, junior or senior who is not graduating before or during the Fall 2024 or Spring 2025 semesters. The CCUBelong Student Ambassador term lasts one year and is renewable each year for up to three years.

Expectations
  1. Maintain a 2.5 cumulative GPA
  2. Maintain enrollment as a full-time student
  3. Complete a minimum of ten hours per semester of CCUBelong Student Ambassador service
  4. Attend onboarding and training within the first two weeks of the Fall 2024 semester
  5. Attend and participate in the CCUBelong Student Ambassador meeting 
  6. Maintain regular email communication regarding your role as a CCUBelong Student Ambassador
  7. Maintain the provided uniform and return the items upon release from the program
  8. Positively represent the CCUBelong Student Ambassador program at University functions/events
  9. Positively reflect the image of the Office of the Provost on campus and in the community. 

As a CCUBelong Student Ambassador, if all duties and responsibilities are completed, you will receive a $450 stipend per semester. If you believe that you are meant to be a part of our team, please apply by following this secure link:
