2018 SCPSA Welcome & Registration

Annual Meeting Registration and Details

The South Carolina Political Science Association Annual Meeting is just around the corner! We are looking forward to seeing all of you on Saturday, March 24, 2018 at Coastal Carolina University

The meeting will host a variety of panels and roundtables covering exciting topics in the fields of American politics, Comparative Politics, International Relations, Political Theory, and Public Administration.

Please print and complete the 2018 SCPSA Conference Registration Form‌, and mail in that form, along with a check for your membership, registration, and luncheon fees (payable to SCPSA) by February 25 to:

SCPSA Business Meeting

The SCPSA business meeting will be held on Saturday, March 24, 2018 immediately following the conference luncheon.  A full agenda will be posted here prior to the meeting.  

 

Mary Jeanne Byrd Award for Best Paper

The Mary Jeanne Byrd Award is given annually to the best undergraduate paper presented at the South Carolina Political Science Association’s Annual Meeting. To submit a paper for consideration, please email Program Organizer Suheir Daoud, Ph.D. by February 15, 2018.  Submissions should include two versions of the paper, one full copy and one with all identifying names and affiliations removed. If you have any questions about the Award, please contact Suheir Daoud.

For the second consecutive year, we are proud to announce that -- after peer review -- the winning paper will be published in an upcoming volume of the , the journal of the S.C. Political Science Association, published in cooperation with the Athenaeum Press at Coastal Carolina University.
