Alena Viarenich

Viarenich was named to the President’s List once and the Dean’s List twice, and became a member of Beta Gamma Sigma, the honor society for business.

Alena Viarenich, originally from Pinsk, Belarus, came to the United States in 2008 on a J-1 student visa to work and explore the world. She attended Horry Georgetown Technical College starting in 2013 and was named to the President’s List there for three semesters and was a member of the Phi Theta Kappa honor society for two-year colleges and academic programs. Viarenich transferred to Coastal Carolina University in 2014 to earn a bachelor’s degree in finance. She was named to the President’s List once and the Dean’s List twice, and became a member of Beta Gamma Sigma, the honor society for business. She interned in the summer of 2015 with the City of Myrtle Beach’s business license department and tutored other finance students at CCU for two semesters.
