Kerwin Johnson

As an undergraduate student at Coastal Carolina University, Johnson was named to Dean’s List and the President’s List and was a recipient of the South Carolina Life Scholarship. He served as a mentor of the Spadoni College of Education’s Call Me Mister program.

Kerwin B. Johnson, from Horry County, South Carolina, is pursuing a Master of Arts in secondary education with a concentration in English language arts. As an undergraduate student at Coastal Carolina University, he was named to Dean’s List and the President’s List and was a recipient of the South Carolina Life Scholarship. He served as a mentor of the Spadoni College of Education’s Call Me Mister program. He also spent a semester studying abroad in London, England. His immediate plan following graduation is to teach English/language arts at an area high school. He would also like to coach football and wrestling. His long-term plans are to teach English/language arts at the college level and ultimately become a published writer.
