Biography
Dr. Scott Hileman is currently a Teaching Associate for the history faculty at Coastal Carolina University. Prior to joining the CCU faculty, he was a tenured professor at Martin Methodist College. While at Martin, Dr. Hileman gave numerous presentations on a variety of subjects for the Honors Program. He has also presented numerous times at the Consortium on the Revolutionary Era, 1750-1850, and through his over twenty years in academia, has written book reviews for the Journal of Military History. He is currently working on expanding his research concerning the relationship of the United States and France during the First Indochina War; and America’s involvement in the two world wars.

Was selected to work on the papers of General William Westmoreland, commander US forces Vietnam, 1964-1968.
