Biography
Chris Connolly is Lecturer of Low Brass at Coastal Carolina University in Conway, South Carolina. He has toured the world performing on cruise ships and performed in jazz clubs in New York City, San Juan Puerto Rico and Copenhagen, Denmark. Chris is active as a performer on trombone with the Long Bay Symphony and Opera Wilmington. As an arranger, his music has been performed by a variety of artists, including jazz musicians Mulgrew Miller, Steve Wilson and Bernie Williams, R&B singer Russel Tompkins (Stylistics), beach music singers Maurice Williams and Craig Woolard, and by performers on cruise ships around the world. As a performer, Chris has worked with artists including Frankie Valli, Low Rawls, Aretha Franklin, The Temptations, The Four Tops and Bill Mobley and the Smoke Big Band.
