College of Science Degree in Three programs

Students with a 3.5 High School GPA and 1100 SAT score or 24 ACT score who choose to major in selected College of Science disciplines, can obtain an undergraduate degree in three short years by taking advantage of fall, spring, and summer classes. All coursework post-college registration must be taken at Coastal Carolina University and completed according to the department's Degree in Three curriculum plan.

Please note that for all College of Science programs except Computer Science and Information Systems entering freshmen must be ready to register for Math 160 Calculus, i.e., the student must place at the Math 160 level in the CCU Mathematics placement test, which is administered during on-campus freshman orientation. It is critical that students demonstrate this mathematics competency.

For majors not listed above the student can meet with a Degree in Three adviser to develop a curriculum plan that demonstrates a three-year completion, however, there is no guarantee that all courses required will be offered for these majors.
