I chose to attend CCU for a variety of reasons. To begin with, I was looking for a well-known and respected institution that would give me the opportunity to play the sport I love, tennis, while receiving a top-notch education. I was also looking for a welcoming place that had a good social scene and that gave me the opportunity to become successful in what I was interested in. This would have never been possible without the scholarships I was awarded, thanks to my athletic and academic achievements.
My experience so far has been fantastic! I graduated with a 4.0 GPA with a Bachelor of Science degree in economics (Summa Cum Laude) while being nominated Student-Athlete of the Year for the 2016-17 academic year. I won a conference championship with the CCU men’s tennis team and I received the President’s Award at graduation. This opened so many doors for me, enabling me to intern at Citibank, a Fortune 500 company. I am now back for graduate school and I am enrolled in two different programs while serving as a graduate assistant. CCU has also helped me to discover my passion for music production. In addition to my music being supported by many global artists and magazines, including The Chanticleer, I have also met tons of amazing people that helped me improve my social skills and sharpen my language/communication abilities. To top it off, I am still able to play tennis on a regular basis. I am here to make an impact, and here to stay until I achieve my goals.
